Multifaceted Quentin Crida is founder and leader of the group. During four years in London he freelanced in a variety of genres: pop music, film soundtracks, chamber and symphony orchestras including the Mozart Festival Orchestra. Film soundtracks include: Tomorrow Never Dies, Joan of Arc, The Twelve Monkeys, etc. He has played in live concerts with amongst others, Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, Seal and Rod Stewart. François Arzul, after completing a BMus with Honours, immediately took up the position of first violin in The National Symphony Orchestra. He has played chamber music in various orchestral groups and with some of the country's top musicians. Since arriving in Cape Town he plays part time in The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, but he especially enjoys playing together with other musicians in a more intimate format. At 11 years Cheryl de Havilland won a bursary to study music at the Royal College of Music. Since then she has attended master classes with amongst others, Joan Dickson, Christopher Bunting and Jacqueline du Pré. Since moving to Cape Town she has been co-principal cellist in the Capab Orchestra, the CT Symphony and Phiharmonic Orchestras. She is also a member of the cello sextet, I Grandi Violoncellisti and regularly plays at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival. Emile de Roubaix started violin lessons at the age of ten, and later studied Bmus (violin) at Stellenbosch University as well as Mmus (viola) at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, UK. For several years he freelanced as a violist in the UK and Norway.He returned to Cape Town in 2012 where he now freelances and teaches music.
