In the hart of the Cape Fynbos floral Kingdom set between the Palmiet and Kleinmond Lagoon lies the small but vibrant town Kleinmond.
Kleinmond has been a popular summer resort sense 1860's when farmers of the Caledon and Elgin area use to spent their summer holiday at this coastal paradise, and still today Kleinmond consist of many holiday homes. Kleinmond got its name from the small mouth of the Bot River that mouths at Kleinmond into the ocean.
